Our Story
Jacksonville Snake Removal was founded in 2007 by a lifelong Northeast Florida resident who recognized a gap in the local wildlife removal market. General pest control companies were handling snake calls with improvised equipment and limited species knowledge. Homeowners were getting incomplete service — the snake removed, but the entry points left open and the attractants left in place.
We built this company around a different approach: treat every snake call as a complete wildlife management problem, not a one-time extraction. That means identifying the species, locating and sealing entry points, assessing for rodents and other attractants, and following up to confirm the problem is resolved.
Today we serve Duval, St. Johns, and St. Augustine counties with a team of trained wildlife specialists. Every technician completes our in-house species identification and handling certification before their first solo call. We carry full liability insurance and are licensed by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

Our Approach
Every snake call follows the same four-step process regardless of species or situation.
Identify
We identify the species before any removal attempt. Species identification determines the equipment, handling protocol, and risk level for the job. We never rush this step.
Remove
We remove the snake using professional capture equipment appropriate for the species. Venomous species require specialized tools and protocols. We relocate non-venomous species to appropriate natural habitat.
Exclude
We locate and seal the entry points that allowed the snake into the structure. This is the most important step for preventing recurrence. Removal without exclusion is a temporary fix.
Assess
We assess for the conditions that attracted the snake — primarily rodent activity — and provide recommendations for long-term prevention. A home without attractants is far less likely to have recurring snake problems.
